DESCRIPTION:An Evening with Erik Stokkebye \nThursday\, March 26 | 5:00pm till 9:00 pm \nCome and meet Erik in store. Enjoy a sample of Erik’s 4th generation tobacco. \nThis event is free to attend and is open to new pipe smokers as well as seasoned veterans. \nErik will be doing a pipe and tobacco presentation at 7:00pm with a Q&A afterward. \nFor the new pipe smoker who wants to try pipe smoking for the first time we will also have a complimentary corn cob pipe available for you to use with your pipe tobacco samples. \n4 new 4th Generation tobacco’s will be officially released. \nRepresenting his family’s fourth generation in the tobacco business\, Erik Stokkebye has been\nimmersed in the trade over his entire lifetime. Appropriately\, Erik is the founder and driving force\nbehind Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation tobaccos and 4th Generation pipes. \nHis family has been entrenched in tobacco since 1882\, when his great-grandfather\, Erik Peter\nStokkebye\, launched the Stokkebye Company in Odense\, Denmark. “When he started the\ncompany\,” says Erik\, “he moved into a four-story building with a factory in the back\, apartments\nupstairs\, and a retail store in front. The factory entrance is actually depicted on the tin for the\nlimited-edition tobacco we released last year: Small Batch Jubilæums Flake. “The building has\nnot housed a tobacco shop since the 1960s and is now a women’s clothing store\, but it and its\nhistory are intact. The original structure continues to stand today and is an official historic\nbuilding. “So it can’t be torn down\, because it’s under the supervision of the Danish government\,\nwhich is kind of cool.” \nTobaccos featured: \n1855 Virginia \n1931 Navy Flake \n1957 Vanilla \n1982 Aromatic \nPlan to pop in to the shop and share a bowl and some conversation with Erik! \n  \n
