The prized Sumatra-seed wrapper on Ashton VSG hails from a private estate in Ecuador where the region’s delicate cloud cover naturally filters sunlight. From there, it is fermented extensively in the hands of the Fuente family until it achieves its dark and lustrous sheen. The wrapper conceals a profound marriage of four-to-five-year-aged Dominican binder and filler tobaccos. Since its debut in 1999, the 94-rated Ashton VSG has governed the summit for full-bodied flavour and richness. Mesmerizing notes of cedar, earth, espresso beans, and leather develop with impeccable accord. Size: Robusto 5 ½ x 50.

About Ashton Cigars

He took the business over in the 1970s, successfully expanding its retail and mail order presence. Following years of steady growth, Levin applied his ambition to the creation of his own cigar brand. In 1985, he partnered with the Fuente family to produce the brand, due to their unequivocal talent, dedication, and passion for premium tobaccos. Carlos Fuente Sr. and his son, Carlito Fuente, had been making premium cigars of their own for generations. The Fuente family’s uncompromising standards for taste, construction, and consistency has drawn consumers to their cigars for over a century.
