Originally introduced as a Tennessee-only regional release in 2014, the blend quickly developed a loyal following thanks to its distinctive flavour profile and excellent craftsmanship. Jon Huber, founder had this to say about the origin of the brand:
“Tennessee Waltz” is a song that is near and dear to my heart.
It was the song that was playing in the dance hall when my maternal Grandfather met my Grandmother. I vividly recall him whistling that tune throughout my childhood. It’s a song that was made popular in 1950 by Patti Page, and has been recorded by everyone from Sam Cooke to Otis Redding to Norah Jones.
The state of Tennessee is also near and dear to my heart. I met my wife here, my family is here, and of course, Crowned Heads is headquartered here in Nashville. Crowned Heads owes a great deal to the people of Tennessee for their support from the very beginning. And so it is with a sincere spirit of gratitude that we present “Tennessee Waltz.”

Measuring 5 1/2 x 52, the Tennessee Waltz Robusto is produced at the renowned My Father Cigars factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. It features a dark and oily Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. The result is a medium-to-full-bodied smoke with a flavour profile that balances richness and complexity.
From the first draw, smokers are greeted with notes of cocoa, earth, leather, espresso, and black pepper. As the cigar develops, sweeter flavours such as chocolate and cream begin to emerge, accompanied by hints of cedar and roasted nuts. Many enthusiasts praise the Tennessee Waltz for its smooth burn, dense smoke output, and balanced strength.
The cigar’s name is inspired by the classic song “Tennessee Waltz,” which held personal meaning for Crowned Heads co-founder Jon Huber.
