Description
Made in the Canary Islands by Tabacos El Guajiro SA, these trompetas are trumpet-shaped, hence the name. The foot is about twice the ring gauge of the tip, giving great flavour upon the initial light. Trompetas are the company’s most desired conical cigars, and they are characterized by a medium body and a particularly pleasant taste. Size: 13 x 105mm. Note: these are now shipping in plain packaging.
About Tobacos El Guajiro
In 1935 Don Braulio Pérez Méndez inaugurated the “Tabacos El Guajiro” Cigar Factory. We started by making our cigars entirely by hand. Our work was artisanal until the early 60s when industrialization began to make its way. With this technological innovation, we began to grow. Little by little the doors of the international market began to open and our cigars began to be highly appreciated abroad. A lot has changed in these almost seventy years … We have gone from being that small factory that was born in a small place in Santa Cruz to having one of the first warehouses in an Industrial Estate.
Even today, Don Braulio’s family is in charge of maintaining day by day, in constant work, in the meticulous selection of our raw materials, that standard of quality that characterizes us and that does not change over time. Quality that defines our philosophy … To produce cigars of high category and tradition.
