Description
The La Aurora Family Creed Fuerte Sol Robusto is a premium cigar that honours the values and traditions of the León family, whose legacy has shaped La Aurora since 1903. As the first release in the Family Creed series, the Fuerte Sol—meaning “Strong Sun”—celebrates resilience, dedication, and the enduring spirit that has made La Aurora one of the Dominican Republic’s most respected cigar manufacturers.
Presented in a 5 x 50 box-pressed Robusto format, this medium to full-bodied cigar is expertly crafted with a dark Mexican San Andrés wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and a carefully balanced blend of Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Pennsylvania filler tobaccos. The result is a rich and refined smoking experience that combines strength with remarkable smoothness.
From the first draw, smokers are greeted by notes of spicy cedar, cocoa, toasted nuts, oak, and subtle citrus, complemented by creamy sweetness and hints of coffee and caramel as the cigar progresses. The flavours remain balanced throughout the smoke, while the excellent construction provides an even burn and effortless draw.
The Fuerte Sol Robusto has earned widespread acclaim, including multiple 93-point ratings from industry reviewers, making it a standout addition to La Aurora’s portfolio. For enthusiasts seeking complexity, craftsmanship, and a modern interpretation of Dominican cigar-making, the La Aurora Family Creed Fuerte Sol Robusto delivers an exceptional and memorable smoking experience. About La Aurora Cigars
“The Original Cigar Factory In The Dominican Republic”
La Aurora was founded on October 3rd, 1903 by Eduardo León Jimenes, a hard working man who was son and grandson of tobacco growers. Without neglecting his family tradition, he decided to go a step further with the creation of a cigar brand which he intended to have a global following. Jimenes was just 18 years old at the time but had inherited some “tareas” of land. Armed with his land, a roster of only six employees, great enthusiasm and much effort, he began to build his dream. Today, more than 113 years later, La Aurora has a presence on five continents and more than a thousand employees.
La Aurora is, today, the leading cigar factory in the national Dominican market, but its brands are sold in more than sixty countries all around the world. Its production has a great diversity, with over a thousand different references with such well-known brands as La Aurora, León Jimenes, Princes, Family Reserve and Imperiales.
