Known throughout the industry for his deep knowledge of tobacco, refined palate, and unmistakable personal style, George Frakes has become one of the most respected voices in premium cigars internationally.
Before joining Foundation Cigars, George managed premium retail spaces at the legendary J.J. Fox in London and co-founded 1573 Cigars, the original UK importer for Foundation Cigars.
His passion for Foundation’s blends and philosophy led to a close partnership with founder Nicholas Melillo, eventually becoming a key figure in the company’s international growth and global presence.
George’s conversations go far beyond cigar sales. He brings insight into tobacco cultivation, blending philosophy, history, art, and the cultural storytelling that defines the Foundation brand.
