About Christopher Mey:

Christopher Mey serves as President & Managing Director of Esteban Carreras Cigars, focusing on Global Business Development. With extensive experience across all facets of the cigar industry, he has successfully introduced New World cigars to markets worldwide, spanning over 100 countries across five continents.

Prior to his career in the cigar industry, Christopher led the finance team at the New Jersey Institute of Technology’s Division of Continuing Professional Education. He holds degrees in Accounting, Management Information Systems, and Computer Network Engineering. When not immersed in the world of cigars, Christopher enjoys spending quality time with his family. His wife and four daughters are avid clay target shooters.

Esteban Carreras Cigar Company only releases one new line each year to ensure the quality of the aged tobaccos in its blends and the attention to details in the construction of the cigars. The Tabacalera Carreras SA cigars factory is under the direction of Mr. Gonzalo Puentes, former Minister of Tobacco for Cuba. Mr. Puentes holds a PhD degree in Agriculture and Fermentation of Tobacco from the University of Havana. He has more than 50 years of experience in cigar manufacturing.
