July 19, 2016 – Les Albert was our very first guest on Canadian Cigar Scene so we were overdue to have him back. He’s joined tonight by Colm O’Shea, the Executive Vice President of House of Horvath. If you’re passionate about Canada’s Cigar Scene then you should listen because Colm has been working for many years to temper the never-ending legislation that governs our industry. Tonight he takes us through the challenges of plain packaging which is on the Government of Canada’s agenda. He shows us why this legislation, which makes sense for cigarettes, is misplaced when it comes to cigars. We need to get our politicians to understand that the British model (which exempts cigars) is the way to go with plain packaging legislation.
