Part of our mission at Victory Cigars is to keep bringing you new items. This week, we added several new products including The Don, the biggest cigar we’ve ever sold. This 7×70 behemoth comes in Sun Grown or Habano wrappers; it’s big enough to either smoke or use as an instrument of self defence.
As well as this new cigar we have started to carry: Skoal Bandits; several different small format flavoured cigars; and 5 different flavours of quad wrapper Juicy Bluntarillos. Over the next couple of weeks you will be able to get new sticks from Perdomo; additional items in our shaving line; and some new humidors. The springtime is an exciting time to be at Victory Cigars!

International Pipe Smoking Day
Mark February 20th on your calendars because it is International Pipe Smoking Day. We particularly like the group’s mission statement: “To foster links across the globe in honor of friendship, benevolence, and tranquility; and to celebrate the fraternity of pipe-smokers across all borders.” In honour of this occasion we will have a celebration at Victory Cigars on February 20th from 5:00-9:00 p.m. There will be lots of things to see, smoke or buy at the event. Plan on being here, especially if you are new to the pipe. Our Brothers of the Leaf will help answer your questions so you can refine your techniques.

Once filled with fragrance, the user simply lights the stone disc at the top of the lampe. After a few minutes the flame is blown out, leaving the heated ceramic disc atop the wick. At this point, the flameless low temperature catalytic combustion process begins; the fragrance is drawn up the cotton wick and heated by the disc. This causes the fragrance to vaporize, suffusing the air with scent, deodorizing and improving the air. The effect is real, not imagined; users report vastly improved air quality after just one hour using the lampe. The lampes are safe to use because they do not operate with an open flame, making the Lampe Berger much safer to operate than a scented candle. And the lower operating temperature means that, unlike scented candles, the aromatics are diffused efficiently without being burned. Lampe Berger lets you live in air you’ll love!

Cigar of the Week: Oliva Serie V Belicoso
What’s that? You’ve never had an Oliva? You’re due, my friend. This is the company that has finished in the Top 25 Cigars of the Year 5 times in the past 6 years. And the Serie V is the most prestigious segment of their cigar lineup; the belicoso was the No. 5 cigar in 2009 and this year, the cigar finished at #18 in the 2012 Cigar Aficionado rankings.
