Description
The Turrent family has been creating some of the world’s greatest tobacco for five generations – it’s almost certain that you’ve smoked it in your favourite cigars. Montecristo, Rocky Patel, CAO, Padilla, La Aroma de Cuba, Macanudo, Alec Bradley, La Flor Dominicana, Camacho and many others have recently used the highly sought after Turrent-farmed San Andres tobacco as central components in their top-tier cigars. The Turrent family not only grows the tobacco from the seed up, they also carefully select the best of the crop to create their own cigars. Alejandro Turrent has brought this craft to a new level over the past decade and his achievements have caught the attention of cigar lovers the world over.
The 1942 honours the birth year of Alejandro Turrent’s father Alberto, a legend in the cigar business. This medium-bodied cigar with a San Andres Colorado wrapper derives its complexity from the Criollo binder and Nicaraguan filler, a blend that puts it between the 1901 and 1973 along the flavour spectrum. Size: Robusto 5.25 x 50.
